In an intimate table setting, Bob and Ellie Tupper, authors of Drinking In the Culture: Tuppers’ Guide to Experiencing Great Beer in Europe, present 10 beers nearly all of which are difficult or impossible to obtain in this area. Let the Tuppers be your guide for an international adventure through the world of craft beer. The tastings will include a range of styles and regions and include some beer from the Tuppers’ vault of rare vintage beers that the Tuppers have aged specifically for these tastings. 100% of the price goes to Samaritan Ministries and St. Dunstan’s Church.

Host Jay Lampart welcomes Bob Tupper to his new weekly radio show What’s Brewing Baltimore on February 6 at 3PM. Jay is one of the most entertaining brewers who have appeared at the long-running Brickskeller Tasting series at The Brickskeller and RFD beer specialty restaurants. Expect Lampart and Tupper to recall some of the glory days of those tastings as well as discussing the experiences that led the Tuppers to write their travel guide to Europe. Chill your favorite beer and tune in Saturday, February 6 to 680 AM in Baltimore for a round with Jay and Bob.
Bob Tupper hosts the annual Brickskeller Strong Beer Tasting on Tuesday January 28. Sample seasonal and one-off big beers from some of the areas best craft breweries. This is a seated tasting which features the actual brewers talking about their beers. Brewers include Adroit Theory, Union Craft, Brewers Alley/Monacacy, Mad Fox, DuClaw, Capitol City, Sweetwater Tavern, DC Brau, 3 Stars, District Chop house, Jailbreak and more.
