Join Bob and Ellie at the Maryland Renaissance Festival at the Page After Page bookstore located just uphill from the great slide.
They’ll be signing books, telling stories and sharing previews of our next book. Bob will be periodically singing period songs from the deck of the store.
The Maryland Renaissance Festival is one of the largest in the US and features a remarkable range of entertainment and lots of things to do for revelers of any age. The entire premises is licensed so you can wander around with a craft beer and take it all in. Come share a brew with us!
We’ll be at the Virginia Craft Brewers Festival in Charlottesville signing books and speaking in one of the event seminars. From 3 to 3:45 we’ll join Virginia newspaper writer and beer historian Lee Greaves for a discussion of local and world wide brewing trends. Topic: We are experiencing a golden age of beer in Virginia and beyond, with more breweries than ever and more creative styles being offered by brewers. Join us in exploring the historical, social and economic factors that have led to the boom times, and share your own insights into the world of beer.
